Pacifica Coconut Water Face Wipes

This isn't going to be a review so much as a love letter of sorts. I found these randomly at target a few months ago and I thought they looked really great.

Product Description: From Pacifica's website, "Clean skin is an absolute for anti-aging.  Coconut water infused natural towelettes gently cleanse your face while removing toxins, oil, pollutants and make-up* from your skin without water. Papaya, a natural exfoliant, helps revive skin and remove dead cells. Aloe vera and calendula soothe and calm. These skin-loving wipes are an indispensable part of your daily routine for healthy skin. Anytime, anywhere."

Size:  One pack comes with 30 pre-moistened biodegradable facial towelettes in a sealable bag.

Price:  $7.99

Review: I have very sensitive skin and so I was super excited to try something with natural ingredients whose main ingredient is coconut oil. I've read so much about the benefits of coconut even as a make up removing tool but I was pretty skeptical of just applying the oil directly to my face as some beauty gurus suggested. These have all the benefits of using coconut oil as a make up remover without having to deal with the messiness of it. They are gentle, but still take off makeup. They don't burn like most face wipes. And they smell amazing. Plus they are all natural! I don't think I'll replacing these anytime soon. Five stars!!!

UPDATE:  I found these at Sprouts for $2 less than anywhere else! Only $5.99 making it an even better steal in my mind!

Lush’s Jason and the Argon Oil Shampoo Bar Review

I suck. I know. I am horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE. I have been absent for nearly two weeks. There have been a few things to cause this, most of which is house hunting and packing. House hunting sucks. I used to think that would be fun to look at houses, I was so wrong. In a few weeks time, we have looked at roughly 16 houses. We have loved 4. By the time we stepped foot in the house, they already had several applications on it (we are renting, not buying—which means we get to do this again in a few years when we are buying. JOY.) We even got to be the first people to view a house within hours of it being “on the market”, but it already had four applications on it before we got ours in the next morning…FOUR. We kept getting passed over since we had to put in a 30 day notice for our apartment, and apparently, that’s too long of a wait for someone to move in. To remedy that problem, we put in our notice for our apartment. Our realtor told us it would be no problem finding a house we like...

IT Cosmetics VIP Dinner

This past weekend, I was lucky enough to be invited to a very special VIP dinner hosted by   IT Cosmetics   , along with fellow Dallas bloggers! The dinner included some divine food, champagne, fabulous makeup, and some incredibly fun company at   Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck  atop Reunion Tower in Downtown Dallas. We were also treated to makeovers and a meet & greet with the Co-Founder, Jamie Lima. Being so new at blogging this was my very first experience like this, and let me tell you it was a great first experience. The night started off with some wonderful appetizers, that unfortunately I did not snap pictures of! The tables were also decorated with some of IT Cosmetics products! Adorable! Once we sat down for dinner, we learned more about the company and their products. I had known of the company prior to this due to the New Beauty Test Tube last spring. I received one of their fabulous brushes, which made me want to try the other prod...

MyStylit.com Review

I am about to lay some truth about motherhood on you. Your life forever changes- for the good, the bad and the ugly. The changes range from having your heart filled with a kind of love you never thought you could experience to having a kangaroo pouch from carrying a tiny human being for 10 months. Before I got pregnant, I loved to play around with my style and I loved shopping! Fast forward 6 years, and it's not nearly as much fun. When you have a little boy and husband in toe, both complaining about how bored they are or how much they would rather go to the Lego Store, its hard to put together outfits while shopping. Its hard to ENJOY shopping like that. Now being a mom, with a job in an office with a stricter dress code, I had to change my style up a bit too. I suddenly felt like I lost my sense of what pieces I should put together, I needed some inspiration, and I needed it bad! A friend of mine posted about a website called www.mystylit.com and she raved about how absolutely a...
